Terms of Service
Last updated: May 16, 2026
Welcome to NextBill. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services at nextbill-nti.com ("NextBill," "we," "us," "our"), operated by Nextcore Technology Inc., a domestic corporation registered in the Philippines (TIN 686-391-731-00000) with registered office at 17E Floor, Atherton Place Condominium, Tomas Morato cor. Roces Ave., Laging Handa, 1103 Quezon City, NCR, Philippines. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your country, to create a NextBill account. You agree to provide accurate information when you register and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. What NextBill does
NextBill is a bill-splitting tool. You enter the amount of a bill, the participants, the split mode, and we calculate each person's share. You can email each participant their share, mark who has paid, and (on the Pro plan) send reminders, export reports, and convert currencies. NextBill is not a payment processor — we do not collect money from your group members on your behalf, and we are not a party to any obligations between you and the people you split bills with.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use NextBill for any unlawful purpose or to harm others;
- submit emails to bills or invitations for people who have not consented to receive them (no spam, no unsolicited blasts);
- misrepresent yourself or impersonate another person;
- attempt to circumvent rate limits, payment requirements, or single-active-session protections;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to access portions of the service you are not authorized to use;
- upload malware, attempt to compromise the service, or interfere with other users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without notice.
4. Free and Pro plans
NextBill is free to use within the limits stated on the pricing page (currently: up to 2 groups, with up to 3 members each, plus unlimited individual bills). Pro is a paid plan that unlocks additional features.
5. Pro subscription billing
- Price. The current price is shown on the pricing page (₱180 per month at the time of writing). We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice via email; the new price takes effect at your next renewal.
- Billing cycle. Pro bills monthly, starting the day you subscribe. Your card is charged automatically on each renewal date by PayMongo, our payment processor.
- Payment method. When you subscribe, your card details are vaulted with PayMongo for recurring charges. NextBill never stores your card number, expiry, or CVC.
- Currency and processor. Pro is billed in Philippine Pesos (PHP) through PayMongo for customers in the Philippines, and in US Dollars (USD) through Paddle for customers elsewhere. Your processor is determined by the country detected at checkout — you can switch by visiting the pricing page with the alternate currency. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for international customers and handles any applicable taxes.
- Taxes. Prices include any applicable Philippine VAT unless stated otherwise.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account's pricing page. Cancellation stops future automatic renewals. You keep Pro access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for; after that date your account reverts to the Free plan automatically. No partial-month proration is offered.
7. Refunds
Unless required by applicable law, all transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We (or Paddle, for international transactions where Paddle is the Merchant of Record) may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund if a request is submitted within 14 days of your transaction date.
Refunds are processed using the same payment method where possible, within 14 days of approval. Refunds processed through PayMongo typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days; Paddle-processed refunds may take up to 14 days. If you receive a refund, your access to Pro will cease immediately.
Where local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights — for example, the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Turkey, and Israel; the 7-day cancellation right in Canada, South Korea, Brazil, and China; or the 5-day cancellation right in Singapore — those rights apply in full and override anything in this section. If local consumer-protection laws (or applicable Apple/Google/Paddle terms) provide additional or non-waivable rights, the highest level of rights will always apply.
We will not issue refunds where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour. To request a refund, email support@nextbill-nti.com from the email address associated with your account, including the date, amount, and PayMongo or Paddle reference number of the charge.
8. Email and communications
When you create or send a bill, reminder, or invitation, NextBill sends email on your behalf to the addresses you provide. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to email those addresses. Recipients can ignore future emails by simply not engaging — there is no managed mailing list to unsubscribe from.
9. Your content
You retain ownership of the data you enter into NextBill (bill titles, descriptions, participant lists, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely for the purpose of operating the service for you. We will not use your content to train models, sell to advertisers, or share with third parties except as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
10. Service availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. For material changes that reduce Pro functionality, we will give Pro subscribers at least 30 days' notice and offer a pro-rated refund if you cancel as a result.
11. Disclaimers
NextBill is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. NextBill is a calculation and communication tool, not a financial-services provider. We do not guarantee that emails will be delivered, that currency conversions reflect bank-of-the-day rates, or that calculations meet any specific accounting standard. Always verify important amounts independently.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextBill and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₱2,500, whichever is greater.
13. Termination
You may stop using NextBill at any time by signing out and ceasing to use the service. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or extended inactivity. Upon termination, sections 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, and 15 survive.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be resolved in the proper courts of Quezon City, Philippines.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will email account holders at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Your continued use of NextBill after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
